In 2017, Columbia Threadneedle Investments acquired Lionstone Investments, a real estate investment firm, and Investment Professionals, Inc, a new advisor channel to serve clients of financial institutions. In 2019, the National trust bank converted to Ameriprise Bank, FSB.
