Grange Insurance was formed in 1935, in Columbus, Ohio, to provide auto insurance for a specific group, Ohio State Grange members. Today, Grange Insurance is a large insurance carrier that offers affordable and customizable auto, home, life, and business insurance products. Together with Integrity Insurance, it sells across 13 states, including Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin. The company also created a foundation called Grange Insurance Gives to support charitable giving and reinforce its deep commitment to serving the community.
Infinity was founded in 1955 as the Dixie Insurance Company in Anniston, Alabama. In 1991, it was purchased by the Pennsylvania Company, and a few years later the company merged with American Financial Corporation to form the American Financial Group (AFG). Today, Infinity is one of the largest nonstandard insurers in the nation with nearly 13,000 independent agents. It ranks in the top 50 property and casualty insurance companies in the country.
